The great & grand rumpus

The Great & Grand Rumpus (GGR) was a celebration of the extraordinary potential for community creativity to flourish in libraries. GGR saw children, young people, students, older adults and artists participate in the co-creation of an interactive installation presented as a dynamic public program at State Library of Queensland.

In the final week of the installation GGR became a space for children, families and arts workers to play including pop-up sessions of: storytelling, songs, parades and creative craft-making for children and families to add their stories to the installation. I was one of the four core team members at The State Library that collaboratively researched, developed, planned and delivered this program.
